Autumn Term

Essential Question: Who makes Britain great?

Forest School

Forest School will take place on a Thursday afternoon. Please could your child have a puddlesuit and wellies in school for this. We would like to keep these in school all week due to going out in all weathers. Puddlesuits and wellies will come home at the end of term for a wash.

Visitors

We have been enjoying lots of visitors in line with our Project this term.

Nurse Jade's Visit

Nurse Jade came to visit and show us her special bag and what was inside. The children were able to help treat her 'patients' and practise their bandaging skills.

Farmer Donya's Visit

We loved having Farmer Donya come to visit and tell us all about her life on the farm. She grows crops, has a few animals and her main interest is being a Beekeeper. We loved hearing all about her days on the farm!

Vet Liz's Visit

This week, Vet Liz came in to talk to us all about her job as a vet. She talked about some of the animals that she has worked with and how to look after them. She shared with us some of the equipment that she uses and talked about her uniform.

Police Officer Visit

Police Officer Hannah came to visit us. She shared some stories about some of the jobs that she does. She also showed us the equipment that she keeps in her jacket and the uniform that she wears. She allowed us to handle the equipment, try on Police hats and a Police jacket. We asked her questions about Police dogs, Police cars and whereabouts she works. Police Officer Hannah told us the importance of the number 999 and when to ask the Police for help.
